We booked this hotel in January and it was then called the Grand Limon. It was not until we reached Istanbul, and after some very frustrating moments spent searching for the Grand Limon, that we found out that the name had changed. We are disappointed that Booked.net did not advise us of this.

The rooms are clean and the staff are good. There is a mini bar fridge, an air conditioning, and a TV set - that's always a plus.

Only two good things to say:breakfast OK and clean sheets and towels.
Generally speaking, this hotel is horrible.Looks like hell, smells like s..t.Everything is falling down, the only thing you think about is "what am I doing here ?".When you have to use the bathroom,be careful not to touch anything but the towel or the toilet paper. And try to hold your breath, the smell is killing you. It's a shame that Booked.net has on his list such a terrible place.

The Grand Oral Hotel had a very good, Turkish breakfast selection. The staff did a good job of cleaning up after guests were finished with their breakfast so that the table could be ready for more guests.
At first glance, the room looked pretty clean. After setting our bags down, we found that the sheets had hair on it and the floor had crumbs. We stayed at the hotel for five days and the only thing that was cleaned in our room was the trash being taken out. The floors were not vacuumed and the bathroom was not scrubbed down. There wasn't an extra toilet paper roll, so throughout the night we had no toilet paper and had to look for an open supply closet to get more. The hotel is very close to a busy street which has traffic throughout the night. Upon arriving to the hotel we had to beg to get our passports back, even after they kept insisting that the passports were okay in a drawer in the front desk (not locked). We booked because it was one of the cheaper places to stay in the city, but we would never recommed this hotel.

My room had a mini bar, air conditioning, and a TV, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the Photographic Angle. Rewritten: the room had a mini fridge, air conditioning, and a TV, and it's in a great spot near the Photographic Angle.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. the location is fantastic, being very close to the metro station and conveniently located near all the attractions. It made exploring the city a breeze. Secondly, the staff at the hotel were attentive and provided excellent service. They were friendly and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Additionally, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, with attention to detail. The basic amenities provided were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay.
The hotel could improve on the smell in some of the rooms.
